Achievements

 

  • 2nd   Veteran Dog Class, Golden Retriever Club of Victoria, Championship Show February 2009, Judge:  Mrs Erika Ward (WA).  Critique:  Parkridge Kennels’ Ch Ambermist Grand Design.  Unlucky to meet 1.  Good head and expression.  Straight front good bone and substance.  Short couplings.  Well sprung ribs, deep through the heart.  Broad quarters.

 

  • 2nd Australian Bred Dog Class, SA National Show, June 2008, Judge Mrs M Sillence (UK), Critique: Very nice dog in excellent coat and condition.  Pleasing head and dark eye, deep short coupled body good bend and width of stifle moved with drive.

 

  • 2nd Australian Bred Dog Class Golden Retriever Club of SA August 2007,  Judge Mrs E M Keene (Liz),  Critique: Mature pale cream dog, with a super head and kindly expression, excels in front assembly, showed well when settled, mature deep body, good top line, well bent stifles and strong hocks, moved with purpose and drive.

 

  • 5th place Golden Retriever National November 2006 hosted by the TGRC out of a class of 15.  Judge: Peter and Barbara Mills (Barbara judged Dogs and Peter Judged Bitches).  Critique "Paler boy of real substance and depth.  Super angulation throughout, good width across the loin, good second thigh and short hocks.  Moved happily."

 

  • 2nd Australian Bred Dog, Golden Retriever Club of SA 2006 Championship Show.  Judge:  Mr Bob Lane (Kulawand Kennels UK).  Critique:  "Another Nice Dog.  Good Pigmentation a little tight in elbow, but the  rest fits, in  good condition, firm on the  move".

 

  • Best of Breed, Greensborough & District Kennel Club Inc, 22nd April, 2006 Judge:  Mr A. McQuire (Qld)

  • Opposite Australian Bred in Show at the Golden Retriever Club of Western Australia, September 2005. Judge: Mrs C Ashton (UK)
    Critique: “Compact balanced top notch pale gold boy, beautifully presented and handled to advantage. Lovely typical head, good clean neck, well angulated shoulder & upper arm, strong topline and tailset, good width of second thigh. Covered the ground with ease.”

  • Best of Breed, Australian Bred in Group and Runner-up to Best of Breed at the All Breeds Dog Club of WA Inc Championship Show, July 2005. Judge: Mrs J Hocking (Victoria)

  • Best in Group at the Fremantle Dog Club Championship Show, May 2005. Judge Mrs V Carter (SA)

  • 6th Intermediate Dog (class entry of 50) at the 5th Golden Retriever National, May 2004, JUDGE: Mrs Ainslie L. Mills (CANADA), Critique: "Well balanced dog with nice angles and overall pleasing outline. Good body development. A bit lower on leg. Moved soundly."

  • 2nd Puppy Dog at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria, October 2002.
    Judge: Mrs Agneta Cardell (Sweden)
    Critique “Stylish young dog with a good head and expression, good reach of neck, balanced in angulation, excellent body, short coupled, moves well."

  • 2nd Minor Puppy Dog at the 4th Golden Retriever National, August 2002.
    Judge: Mrs H Morss (UK).
    Critique “This puppy is at his best on the move. Carried himself around a very large ring with confidence, to assess him standing seemed just too much to ask for!! He looks a little high over the quarters, but this is so typical for his age, he felt good to the hands and was even better on the eye, excellent head carriage for one so young, great tail carriage. He shows a great deal of promise."
